The Errol McKellar Foundation with the Inspired Diabetic invited guest

Errol's Celebrity IX V's Ling’s London Legends IX

Leyton Orient’s Football Ground, The Matchroom Stadium, Brisbane Road (capacity 9271)
Sunday May 27th 2018 - Kick off 3pm.

The Match
This special football match will be the main event at the Matchroom Stadium as some of the biggest names in football and entertainment come together to raise funds and awareness of prostate cancer and mental health issues in men.
The Charities
The proceeds from the day will be split between The Errol McKellar Foundation, Prostate Cancer UK and the East Herts Mind Network and the charities will be helping to promote the match and assist on the day.
The Players
Those who have already confirmed to me that they intend to take part on the day include Glenn Hoddle, Harry Rednapp, Roberto di Matteo, Teddy Sheringham, Jimmy Bullard and Gianfranco Zola from football as well as British and Hollywood actor Idris Elba, one of the stars of Red Dwarf, Danny John Jules, and one of ITV’s ‘chasers’, Shaun Wallace.
Many other extremely well known names will be added in the coming weeks.
The Format

The highlight of the day will be the football match but there will be many other fund and awareness raising activities.

In order to assist us to organise the match and ensure that as much as possible is raised for the three charity partners we are very pleased to offer an outstanding headline sponsor package that could include

47,000 men in Britain are diagnosed with it each year and 11,000 die of prostate cancer.

As well as being a coach and scout for Leyton Orient FC, Errol McKellar had his own small business, an MOT garage in Hackney, and by offering discounts to my customers if they agreed to take a simple PSA test more than 60 men have discovered they needed urgent treatment.

I'm also an ambassador for Prostate Cancer UK and three years ago arranged a fundraising football match between Orient Legends and a team managed by Russell Brand and Harry Rednapp and with players who included Trevor Sinclair, Luther Blissett, Ralph Little, Tamer Hassan, Ashley Walters, Kano, Dan Osborne, Kevin Lisbie and Olympic sprinter Christian Malcolm.

3000 attended and a very large sum was raised for the charity and their work, so this year I'm organising a second one that will be a lot bigger as it focuses on two key aspects of men's health.

The profits will be split between the new Foundation, Prostate Cancer UK and the East Herts Mind Network.

Martin Ling, the Director of Football at Leyton Orient is an ambassador for them and we know that mental health issues are also ones that need to be discussed by men of all ages and backgrounds, especially in football.
